A safe space for LGBTQIA+ teens 🌈and growth. Wednesdays 4:30 PM
Service Description
The LGBTQIA+ Teen Support Group is a safe, affirming space for teens (ages 13–18) to connect, share, and feel supported in their identities. Growing up can be challenging, especially when navigating identity, relationships, family, school, and mental health. This group offers community and belonging so no teen has to go through it alone. Each session includes opportunities to: Build friendships with other LGBTQIA+ teens who understand Share experiences in a safe, confidential environment Explore identity and self-expression without judgment Learn practical coping skills and tools for resilience Celebrate creativity, courage, and joy together Facilitated by Erica Smalla, MSW, MEd, a neurodivergent, LGBTQIA+ therapist specializing in identity-affirming and trauma-informed care, this group creates a space where every teen feels seen, valued, and safe to be themselves. This group is especially supportive for teens who are: Looking for a peer community that “gets it” Feeling isolated or misunderstood Exploring their identity in a safe, affirming space Wanting to grow confidence and self-acceptance Seeking support with relationships, school, or family stress Details: Duration: 1 hour Location: Union Street South (with online option via Zoom) Price: $35 per session (membership and package options available) 🌟 Whether your teen is questioning, out, or anywhere in between, they are welcome here. This is a place to feel supported, express freely, and discover that they are not alone.
