Hi there, I'm Erica!
I'm so glad you're here
I know finding the right therapist can feel a little overwhelming. You want someone you can actually feel comfortable with and be yourself around. So I thought I’d tell you a little about me and how I approach therapy, and you can get a feel for whether we might be a good fit.

I help you understand yourself, trust yourself, and feel more at home in who you are.
My style is warm, curious, and real. I use Internal Family Systems (IFS) and parts work to help you understand what’s happening beneath the surface—not to fix or change who you are, but to get to know yourself with more compassion.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, relationships, neurodivergence, identity, or simply feeling disconnected from yourself, or your partner, all parts of you are welcome here.

My Story.
IFS gave me more than a way to understand myself. It helped me reconnect with my creativity, passion, and sense of purpose.
For a long time, I knew how to keep going, accomplish things, and be there for other people. But getting to know my own internal world—really slowing down and listening to the different parts of me—opened something I didn't know I was missing.
As I became more connected to myself, life became more vibrant. I felt more creative, more passionate, more playful, and more willing to trust my own voice. I started making choices that felt like mine. There was more color, more curiosity, and a deeper sense of purpose in the way I moved through the world.

IFS helped me understand that healing wasn't about becoming a better version of myself. It was about coming home to the person who had been there all along—and learning to have compassion for everything I met along the way.
That experience is a big part of why I love this work.
I don't expect therapy to make life perfect. But I know how powerful it can be to stop fighting yourself, understand the parts that have been working so hard to protect you, and discover what becomes possible when there's more room for you.
That's the kind of space I hope to create at Heartbeat. A place where all of you gets to come alive.
