iN-PERSON THERAPY

Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapy approach based on the idea that we all have different “parts” within us. You might have an anxious part that prepares for everything that could go wrong, a people-pleasing part that works hard to keep others happy, a critical part that pushes you to do better, or a part that shuts down when life becomes too overwhelming.

These parts aren’t signs that something is wrong with you. Often, they developed for very good reasons. They learned ways to protect you from hurt, rejection, shame, fear, or experiences that once felt too difficult to handle.

A Different Way to Heal

The problem is that strategies that helped you survive or cope in the past may now leave you feeling anxious, disconnected, stuck, or at war with yourself.

IFS helps us understand your parts rather than fight them.

Together, we slow things down and get curious about what happens inside you—what your parts are afraid of, what they’re protecting, and what they need. As those parts begin to feel understood and less alone, there can be more room for your core Self: the compassionate, curious, grounded part of you that IFS believes has been there all along.

The goal isn’t to get rid of parts of yourself. It’s to help all of you feel heard, understood, and more connected.
